Have you noticed there are more and more cases of people having their Facebook account hacked?<\/p>\n

It can be really alarming and anoying if you find someone else is able to place messages on Facebook as if they came from you.<\/p>\n

There are things you can do to help stopping it happening to you.<\/p>\n

\"Facebook\"One good security measure is what Facebook call ‘Login Approvals’. Basically, if you login to your Facebook account on a PC you haven’t used before, Facebook will send you a text message with a code for you to enter to complete the login. So anyone trying to hack your account would not be able to login unless they also have your phone.<\/p>\n

\nGoogle have also introduced this feature, but they call it 2-step verification.<\/p>\n

\"Yahoo\"It sounds like Yahoo are also looking at this, but at the moment it is only a beta release and only available in the US. It should be available in the UK in a few months.<\/p>\n

You may say that you don’t want to always have your phone with you when you login to these accounts, but remember it is only when you login to a machine for the first time. Or about once a month for Google.<\/p>\n
