Written for emails from <a href=\"&#x6d;&#x61;&#x69;&#108;to:&#x69;&#x6e;&#x66;&#x6f;&#64;dbn&#x77;&#x65;&#x62;&#100;&#101;sig&#x6e;&#x2e;&#x63;&#111;.uk\">&#x69;&#x6e;&#x66;&#111;&#64;db&#x6e;&#x77;&#x65;&#x62;&#100;esi&#x67;&#x6e;&#x2e;&#99;&#111;.uk<\/a>, but you can easily use the same instructions for other addresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Instructions for Whitelisting Our Email<\/strong><br>Provided courtesy of the ISIPP&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.isipp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">SuretyMail Email Accreditation program<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 style=\"text-align:center\"><strong>How to Whitelist Email from <\/strong><br><strong>DBN Web Design<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"><strong>for AOL, Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook,<br>Thunderbird, Apple Mail, Postini, Bell\/Sympatico, Rogers, Shaw, Telus.net &amp; More<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure that the email we send you ends up in your inbox, and isn&#8217;t mistakenly sent to the junk folder, please whitelist our email address, which is&nbsp;<em>&#x69;&#x6e;&#x66;&#x6f;&#64;&#100;bnw&#x65;&#x62;&#x64;&#x65;&#x73;&#105;&#103;n.c&#x6f;&#x2e;&#x75;&#x6b;<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below is information on how to whitelist us with AOL, Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, ThunderBird and Postini. Even if your ISP or email program is not listed, with these instructions you should be able to figure out how to whitelist our email address at any ISP or with any email program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, if you find an email from <em>&#105;&#x6e;&#102;&#x6f;&#64;&#x64;b&#x6e;w&#x65;b&#x64;e&#x73;i&#x67;n&#x2e;c&#x6f;.&#x75;k<\/em>\u00a0in your spam or junk folder, please take that opportunity to tell your mail program that it is not spam by hitting the &#8220;not spam&#8221;, &#8220;not junk&#8221; or similar button, as that will train your program to whitelist it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>AOL<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To add &#105;&#x6e;f&#x6f;&#64;&#x64;b&#110;&#x77;&#101;&#x62;d&#x65;s&#x69;g&#110;&#x2e;c&#x6f;.&#x75;k to your AOL address book:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Open an email from us and then click the &#8216;This Is Not Spam&#8217; button<\/li><li>Click the Mail menu and select Address Book<\/li><li>Wait for the Address Book window to pop up, then click the &#8216;Add&#8217; button<\/li><li>Wait for the Address Card for New Contact window to load<\/li><li>Paste inf&#111;&#x40;&#x64;&#x62;nwe&#98;&#x64;&#x65;&#x73;&#x69;gn.&#99;&#x6f;&#x2e;&#x75;&#x6b; into the \u2018Other E-Mail\u2019 field<\/li><li>Make our &#8220;From&#8221; address, &#x69;&#x6e;&#x66;&#x6f;&#x40;&#x64;&#x62;&#x6e;&#x77;&#x65;&#x62;&#x64;&#x65;&#x73;&#x69;&#x67;&#x6e;&#x2e;&#x63;&#x6f;&#x2e;&#x75;&#x6b;, the Primary E-Mail address by checking the appropriate box<\/li><li>Click &#8220;Save&#8221;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>Yahoo!<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To whitelist inf&#111;&#64;&#x64;&#x62;&#x6e;&#x77;ebd&#101;&#115;&#x69;&#x67;&#x6e;&#x2e;co.&#117;&#107; with Yahoo!, you will need to set up a &#8220;filter&#8221; after first taking the following steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>If you find an email from info&#64;dbnwebdesign.c&#111;&#46;&#117;&#107; is going to your Yahoo! bulk folder, open it and click &#8220;Not Spam&#8221;<\/li><li>Be sure that the address &#x69;&#x6e;&#102;&#111;&#64;d&#x62;&#x6e;&#x77;&#101;bde&#x73;&#x69;&#x67;&#110;.c&#x6f;&#x2e;&#x75;&#107; is not in your &#8220;Blocked Addresses&#8221; list. If i&#x6e;&#x66;o&#x40;&#x64;b&#x6e;&#x77;e&#x62;&#x64;e&#x73;&#x69;g&#x6e;&#x2e;c&#x6f;&#x2e;u&#x6b; <strong>is<\/strong>\u00a0on your &#8220;Blocked Addresses&#8221; list, select it and click &#8220;Remove Block&#8221;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Now to create the filter:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Open your mail and click on &#8220;Mail Options&#8221; in the upper right-hand corner<\/li><li>Select &#8216;Filters&#8217; (in the bottom left corner)<\/li><li>On the Filters page, click &#8220;Add&#8221;<\/li><li>Select the &#8220;From header:&#8221; rule, and add &#8220;contains&#8221; and &#x69;&#x6e;&#102;o&#64;&#x64;&#x62;&#x6e;web&#x64;&#x65;&#115;ig&#x6e;&#x2e;&#x63;&#111;.u&#x6b;, which tells the system to put email with i&#x6e;f&#x6f;&#x40;d&#x62;n&#119;&#x65;b&#x64;e&#115;&#x69;g&#x6e;.&#99;&#x6f;.&#x75;&#x6b; in your inbox and not the bulk folder.<\/li><li>Click the &#8220;Choose Folder&#8221; pull-down menu and select &#8216;Inbox&#8217;<\/li><li>Pick the Add Filter button<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>Hotmail<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To whitelist our address with Hotmail you will need to add &#105;&#x6e;f&#x6f;&#64;&#x64;b&#x6e;w&#x65;b&#100;&#x65;&#115;&#x69;g&#x6e;.&#x63;o&#x2e;u&#x6b; to your Hotmail Safe List. Here&#8217;s how:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>First, if you find an email from us in your Hotmail junk folder, open the email and click &#8220;Not Junk&#8221;<\/li><li>Next, check to see if the email address &#x69;&#x6e;&#x66;&#x6f;&#x40;&#x64;&#x62;&#x6e;&#x77;&#x65;&#x62;&#x64;&#x65;&#x73;&#x69;&#x67;&#x6e;&#x2e;&#x63;&#x6f;&#x2e;&#x75;&#x6b; is on your Blocked Senders list. If you find i&#110;&#x66;&#x6f;&#64;d&#98;&#x6e;&#x77;eb&#100;&#x65;&#x73;ig&#x6e;&#x2e;&#x63;o&#46;&#x75;&#x6b; on your Hotmail blocked senders list, select it and click on the &#8220;Remove&#8221; button<\/li><li>Next, open your mailbox and click &#8220;Options&#8221; in the upper right-hand corner<\/li><li>At the top of the page, click on the &#8220;Junk E-mail Protection&#8221; link<\/li><li>Next, click on &#8220;Safe List&#8221;, which is down near the bottom<\/li><li>Copy and paste &#105;n&#x66;o&#x40;d&#x62;n&#x77;e&#x62;d&#x65;s&#x69;g&#x6e;.&#x63;&#111;&#x2e;&#117;&#x6b; where it says &#8220;Type an address or domain&#8221;<\/li><li>Click the &#8220;Add&#8221; button<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>Gmail<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>First, if you find an email from us in your Gmail spam folder, select our email and click the &#8220;Not Spam&#8221; button<\/li><li>Next, open an email that you have received from us<\/li><li>Click on the little down-pointing-triangle-arrow next to &#8220;Reply&#8221;:<\/li><li>Click &#8220;Add DBN Web Design to Contacts list&#8221;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>Microsoft Outlook<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>On the Tools menu, click Options<\/li><li>On the Preferences tab, click Junk E-mail<\/li><li>On the Safe Senders tab, click Add<\/li><li>Add i&#x6e;fo&#x40;db&#x6e;w&#101;&#x62;d&#101;&#x73;i&#103;&#x6e;.&#99;&#x6f;.&#117;&#x6b; where it says &#8220;Add address&#8221;<\/li><li>Click OK<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>Thunderbird<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To whitelist in Thunderbird, you will need to add &#x69;&#x6e;&#x66;&#x6f;&#x40;&#x64;&#x62;&#x6e;&#119;&#101;&#98;&#100;esign.c&#x6f;&#x2e;&#x75;&#x6b; to your address book and then set up your Thunderbird Junk Mail Controls to whitelist your address book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>First, if you find an email from &#105;&#x6e;f&#x6f;&#64;&#x64;b&#x6e;w&#x65;b&#100;&#x65;&#115;&#x69;g&#x6e;.&#x63;o&#x2e;u&#x6b; in your Junk folder, right-click on our email and choose &#8220;Mark as Not Junk&#8221;<\/li><li>Next, click the Address Book button<\/li><li>Highlight the Personal Address Book<\/li><li>Click on &#8220;New Card&#8221;<\/li><li>In the &#8220;Contact&#8221; tab of the new card, copy and paste i&#x6e;&#x66;o&#64;&#x64;b&#110;&#x77;e&#98;&#x64;es&#x69;&#x67;n&#x2e;&#x63;o&#46;&#x75;k to the email dialogue box<\/li><li>Click &#8220;Ok&#8221;<\/li><li>Next, to whitelist your address book, select &#8220;Tools > Junk Mail Controls&#8221; from the drop-down menu<\/li><li>Update the &#8220;White Lists&#8221; module under the &#8220;Settings&#8221; tab by selecting &#8220;Personal Address Book&#8221; from the drop-down menu, and then check the box next to &#8220;Do not mark messages as junk mail&#8221;<\/li><li>Click &#8220;Ok&#8221;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>Apple Mail for OS X<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>First, if an email from i&#110;&#x66;&#x6f;&#64;d&#98;&#x6e;&#x77;e&#98;&#x64;&#x65;si&#103;&#x6e;&#x2e;c&#111;&#x2e;&#x75;k ends up in your junk folder, highlight or open it and click &#8220;Not Junk&#8221; at the top of your screen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Go to Mail > Preferences from your Mail menu<\/li><li>Go to the Rules tab<\/li><li>Select Add Rule<\/li><li>Give this rule a name such as &#8220;DBN Web Design&#8221;<\/li><li>Create a rule that says &#8220;If <em>any<\/em>\u00a0of the following conditions are met: &#8216;From&#8217; &#8216;Contains'&#8221; and then paste in &#8220;i&#x6e;&#x66;o&#64;&#x64;b&#110;&#x77;e&#98;&#x64;es&#x69;&#x67;n&#x2e;&#x63;o&#46;&#x75;k&#8221;<\/li><li>From the actions, select &#8216;Move message&#8217; to mailbox &#8216;Inbox&#8217;.<\/li><li>Click &#8220;OK&#8221;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>Bell\/Sympatico<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To whitelist &#x69;&#110;f&#x6f;&#64;d&#x62;&#x6e;w&#x65;&#x62;&#100;e&#x73;&#105;g&#x6e;&#x2e;c&#x6f;&#x2e;&#117;k with Bell \/ Sympatico:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Using \u200bwww.bell.ca\/\u200b webmail sign in to your Sympatico account.<\/li><li>On the Sympatico web page, click on the \u200bOptions\u200b tab at the top of the page. Select the \u200b&#8217;More Options&#8217;\u200b link at the bottom of the drop-down menu.<\/li><li>On the new page, under \u2019Junk e-mail\u2019 click the \u200b&#8217;Safe and Blocked Senders&#8217; link.<\/li><li>On the next page, click the \u200b&#8217;Safe Senders&#8217;\u200b link.<\/li><li>Enter inf&#111;&#x40;&#x64;&#x62;&#x6e;web&#100;&#x65;&#x73;&#x69;&#x67;n.c&#111;&#46;&#x75;&#x6b; in the box.<\/li><li>Click the \u200b&#8217;Add&#8217; button beside it. The screen will refresh and the email address should appear in the Safe List. This will tell Sympatico that email from &#x69;n&#x66;&#111;&#x40;&#x64;b&#x6e;&#119;&#x65;&#x62;d&#x65;&#115;&#x69;&#x67;n&#x2e;&#99;&#x6f;&#x2e;u&#x6b; should not be treated as spam.<\/li><li><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>Rogers<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In Rogers Mail, log into your email account and follow these steps to add &#x69;&#x6e;&#x66;&#x6f;&#x40;&#x64;&#x62;&#x6e;&#x77;&#x65;&#x62;&#x64;&#x65;&#x73;&#x69;&#x67;&#x6e;&#x2e;&#x63;&#x6f;&#x2e;&#x75;&#x6b; to your address book:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>On the main screen, select the \u200b&#8217;Add&#8217;\u200b link next to the Contacts item, on the left-hand side of the page.<\/li><li>A form will appear in the middle of the screen. On this form, enter DBN Web Design and &#x69;&#x6e;&#102;o&#64;&#x64;&#x62;&#x6e;&#119;eb&#x64;&#x65;&#x73;&#105;gn&#x2e;&#x63;&#x6f;&#46;uk and select &#8216;Save&#8217;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re still not receiving emails you are expecting, there are two things you can do:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Use the \u200b&#8217;Not Spam&#8217; button in your Bulk folder.<\/li><li>Create a filter to automatically send email from i&#x6e;f&#x6f;&#x40;d&#x62;n&#119;&#x65;b&#x64;e&#115;&#x69;g&#x6e;.&#99;&#x6f;.&#x75;&#x6b;\u200b to your Inbox. This is the only way to really ensure delivery.<\/li><li><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Report as &#8220;Not Spam&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Check your Rogers Bulk folder<\/li><li>If you see the email from &#x69;&#x6e;&#x66;&#x6f;&#x40;&#100;&#98;nwebd&#x65;&#x73;&#x69;&#x67;&#x6e;&#x2e;&#99;&#111;.uk, highlight it and click \u200b&#8217;Not Spam&#8217;<\/li><li>This does not guarantee that your mail will be delivered in the future, but it does help.<\/li><li><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Create a Filter<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Click \u200b&#8217;Options&#8217;\u200b in the top right navigation bar<\/li><li>Select \u200b&#8217;Mail Options&#8217;\u200b from the list that drops down<\/li><li>Choose \u200b&#8217;Filters&#8217;\u200b located on the left side of the page<\/li><li>Click the \u200b&#8217;Add&#8217;\u200b button on the Filters page<\/li><li>Choose the field you want to match in the incoming message. For example, &#8220;header&#8221; or &#8220;to&#8221;.<\/li><li>Choose the criterion by which you want a match to be made, such as &#8220;contains&#8221;<\/li><li>Enter the text string to compare. For example i&#x6e;f&#111;&#x40;d&#98;&#x6e;w&#101;&#x62;d&#101;&#x73;i&#x67;&#x6e;.&#x63;&#x6f;.&#x75;k<\/li><li>Choose the destination folder to which you would like the message delivered. For example Inbox<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>Telus.net Webmail\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure that our messages arrive in your inbox by adding info&#64;dbnw&#101;&#98;&#100;&#101;&#x73;&#x69;&#x67;&#x6e;&#x2e;&#x63;&#x6f;&#x2e;&#x75;&#x6b; to your address book and confirm that our email is not spam by reporting so in Telus Webmail.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add Sender to Address Book<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Click on \u200b&#8217;Address list&#8217;\u200b on the sidebar menu<\/li><li>Type &#x69;&#110;f&#x6f;&#x40;&#100;b&#x6e;&#x77;&#101;b&#x64;&#x65;si&#x67;&#x6e;.c&#x6f;&#46;uk into the text box<\/li><li>Click &#8216;Save&#8217;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Report non-spam &#8211; TELUS Webmail<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Open and log into TELUS Webmail<\/li><li>Select the email(s) you would like to report<\/li><li>Click on the \u200b&#8217;Not Spam\u2019&#8217; button above the email(s)<\/li><li>The message will be automatically reported as Not Spam<\/li><li><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>Shaw<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In Webmail for Shaw, log into your email account and follow these steps to add inf&#111;&#64;&#x64;&#x62;&#x6e;&#x77;&#x65;bde&#115;&#105;&#x67;&#x6e;&#x2e;&#x63;&#x6f;.uk to your safe list and to ensure that our emails are not automatically deleted. This ensures that you never miss out on any of our emails!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>On the main screen, select the \u200b&#8217;Address Book&#8217;\u200b tab at the top<\/li><li>This page will list any\/all of your contacts within your address book. On this page, at the bottom, enter DBN Web Design and inf&#111;&#64;&#x64;&#x62;&#x6e;&#x77;ebd&#101;&#115;&#x69;&#x67;&#x6e;&#x2e;co.&#117;&#107;<\/li><li>Then, select \u200b&#8217;Add Contact&#8217;<\/li><li>Once you see our email listed in your personal address book, it means that we\u2019ve been whitelisted, and will help ensure that you continue to receive our emails straight to your inbox.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Shaw has the practice of deleting any message that appears to have spam-like qualities, even if you\u2019ve asked to receive them. With this turned on, emails can be deleted automatically without ever been seen. To disable this automatic filter, please follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>On the main screen, select \u200b&#8217;Settings&#8217;<\/li><li>Then, select the \u200b&#8217;Spam Filter&#8217;\u200b link<\/li><li>On this page, you have the ability to adjust your spam filter settings. Select \u200b&#8217;Disable Junk Email Filtering&#8217;\u200b so no emails are blocked or deleted automatically<\/li><li>Press the \u200b&#8217;Save&#8217; Button<\/li><li><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>Postini<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You do not need to whitelist email from DBN Web Design in Postini&nbsp;<em>unless<\/em>&nbsp;you find it trapped in the &#8220;Junk&#8221; area by Postini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Log into your Postini account<\/li><li>Look to see if any email from &#x69;&#x6e;&#x66;&#x6f;&#x40;&#x64;&#x62;&#x6e;&#x77;&#x65;&#x62;&#x64;&#x65;&#x73;&#x69;&#x67;&#x6e;&#x2e;&#x63;&#x6f;&#x2e;&#x75;&#x6b; is listed in your Junk area<\/li><li>If you find an email from &#105;&#x6e;f&#x6f;&#64;&#x64;b&#x6e;w&#101;&#x62;&#100;&#x65;s&#x69;g&#x6e;.&#99;&#x6f;&#46;&#x75;k in the Junk area, check the checkbox next to the email from i&#110;&#x66;&#x6f;&#x40;d&#98;&#x6e;&#x77;&#x65;b&#100;&#x65;&#x73;&#x69;g&#110;&#x2e;&#x63;&#x6f;.&#117;&#x6b;<\/li><li>Click the &#8220;Deliver Selected&#8221; link at the very top of the Junk screen<\/li><li>On the next screen, click the &#8220;Approve Sender&#8221; checkbox next to the email from &#x69;n&#x66;&#111;&#64;&#x64;b&#x6e;&#x77;e&#x62;&#100;e&#x73;i&#x67;&#110;.&#x63;&#111;.&#x75;k<\/li><li>Click the &#8220;Approve Selected Senders&#8221; button<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you finding some non-spam emails are going into your junk folder?Here are some instructions to help you.
