In this example, we have already created a template to use.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Creating a new email campaign:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Login to mailchimp <a title=\"Mail Chimp\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mailchimp.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.mailchimp.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li>You should now be at the dashboard<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>create campaign<\/strong> -&gt; <strong>regular ol\u2019 campaign<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>list<\/strong> you want to use<strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Next<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Enter details:<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>name<\/strong> your campaign<\/li>\n<li>message <strong>subject<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>select <strong>add Google Analytics<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>update from <strong>name<\/strong> and <strong>reply-to<\/strong> email if required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li><strong>Next<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>template<\/strong> you wish to use<\/li>\n<li>Edit email:<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>update <strong>\u2018teaser\u2019<\/strong> area, hover over it &amp; click edit.<br \/>\n(This should be a brief preview\/teaser of email contents)<\/li>\n<li>hover over <strong>main email content<\/strong> area &amp; click edit.<\/li>\n<li>delete \u2018Your text goes here.\u2019 And <strong>enter your own text<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>don\u2019t edit anything above or below this bit.<br \/>\n(But if you mess it up, don&#8217;t worry you haven&#8217;t changed the template and at worst, you can start again)<\/li>\n<li>the suggested normal text is\u00a0 font <strong>\u2018Arial\u2019<\/strong>, size <strong>\u201812\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>click <strong>save now<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li><strong>Next<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Make sure <strong>plain-text<\/strong> message looks OK.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Next<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Here is your chance to go back to change anything if you want.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Send Now<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And that\u2019s about it.<\/p>\n<h2>View Report:<\/h2>\n<p>After the email has been sent and people have had a chance to read it, have a look at the report for this email.<\/p>\n<p>Review the entries that show as \u2018bouncing\u2019.<\/p>\n<h2>Check your list:<\/h2>\n<p>I would suggest you go through the email list you wish to use and where you know the first name, add it.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>where the first name is known the email will start with <em>\u2018Hello Fred,\u2019<\/em><\/li>\n<li>where the first name is blank the email will start with <em>\u2018Greetings,\u2019<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hope this makes sense.
